HIGH IMPACT EXECUTIVE MASTERCLASSES

Implications of Competition Law on
Business Operations and Corporate Strategies

Tuesday
9 July 2019, 5.00pm–7.00pm

SMU Administration Building
81 Victoria Street, Singapore 188065

Competition law has gone through a remarkable and exponential growth in importance and relevance over the last decade. This masterclass is designed to give those involved in general management responsibilities, in identifying M&A and joint venture opportunities, and in regulated or highly concentrated industries an insight into what to expect in the areas of enforcement trends and implications of the three key prohibitions under the competition law.

These key prohibitions are:

1. Agreements which restrict, prevent or distort competition

2. Abuse of a dominant position

3. Mergers and acquisitions that substantially lessen competition
