The live webinar took place on Tuesday, 22 Nov 2016. However, the webinar recording is available below.

The urban population in Asia has been expanding rapidly, yet a large number of Asian cities are unable to provide basic amenities to its people. There is a huge gap between the demand for infrastructure development and the availability of infrastructure financing despite support from public funding.

Asian Development Bank forecasts that “between 2010 and 2020, Asia needs to invest approximately $8 trillion in overall national infrastructure” in order to meet the infrastructure deficit. To master this opportunity, bankable projects with reliable structure and professional management are imperative for investors, communities and public stakeholders.

Drawing on over a decade of experience in leading the Cleantech and Infrastructure industries in Singapore, Mr Goh Chee Kiong is actively involved in shaping many national initiatives in Water, Energy and Urban Solutions spanning related government agencies.

Mr Goh Chee Kiong will be addressing the following questions in the webinar :-

  • What are the future threats and prospects in Asia’s infrastructure industry?
  • What is Singapore’s role in Asia’s infrastructure development?
  • The importance of deep expertise in structuring efficient infrastructure and manufacturing projects?

Should you have any questions or would like to know more about the Asia Leaders Programme in Infrastructure Excellence (ALPINE) please email your enquiries to exd@smu.edu.sg
